Are you interested in interviewing, reviewing, posting about gigs about Australian Hip Hop Artists? Well Hussletapes.com is looking to expand our writing team on the site. With cool features and benefits for those who do apply. Positions for becoming a staff writer for Hussletapes.com are very limited so if you are interested get your applications in quick.

What we can offer?

Hussletapes.com isn't a bunch of rich dudes in suits sipping expensive scotch. We are normal dudes who do our best to share our passion for Australian Hip Hop. The long and short of it, we ain't rich. We would love to pay a steady wage per article you write but for now we can't afford it (Who knows, one day we would could be capable of that). However for now here is what we can offer.

Your own personal page:
Here you can advertise yourself as a writer and a official contributor to the website. Visitors of the website will be able to look up your profile, previous articles, social networking links, bio and more. Your name or alias will be a menu item on the right hand side of the site, displayed on every page of the site. So that users can have easy access to your articles. Getting the best presence you can have within the website.

Prizes and contests:
Healthy rivalry is good for the soul. Every so often we will host contest between staff members with objectives like, most popular interview, most read article of the month, most commented article, staff choice, fan favourites etc etc. The winners of such contest could receive cash and or prize rewards for their efforts.

Your free to rant about Hip Hop:
Excited about a gig? An upcoming release? Wanna vent about what's happening in the scene? Or share your views of what makes hip hop important to you. If it's relevant and not spamming (to a certain point) you are welcome to share your views with the world.

Front page updating:
This basically means you can use the site to promote thing you personally enjoy or are looking forward to in Hip Hop. We don't mind if you promote a mates (or favourite artists) new releases, music video, up coming gigs, slightly bias reviews (very slightly).

We do occasionally get stuff:
Sometimes we do get promotional materials and if we can give you some cool free stuff we will! It's not like a regular occurrence however we like to think we are generous people and would be happy to share the wealth amongst those who help us.

There is more:
We would like to say honestly we want you to benefit from being apart of the team. Hussletapes will do as much as possible to get you recognised as a writer, and hopefully give you rewards for the work you do. Although we can't outline everything we can do for you but we know there is more to gain from this experience than we can write down on a page.

Who are we looking for?

As you probably are a wear we are growing and while we are expanding as a website and we are looking for the right kind of people to help expand with the website also. If you are a Australian Hip Hop enthusiast, radio host, producer, promoter, blogger, collector and etc. You could be the right kind of person for the team. So long as you have a passion for hip hop and writing about it, this site could be a great place for you.

Why do we need writers?

We mentioned this before, we ain't rich. We have family, jobs and other commitments in life. Hussletapes is truly for the most dedicated people in Australian Hip Hop. We get a lot of emails, new mixtapes and update requests and web design to keep us busy as almost as a full time job. We do the best we can with the time we have and writing articles isn't something we really haven't got a lot of time for.

Previously it wasn't possible for such a thing to happen on the website. However due to upgrades and changes we have developed on the website, Hussletapes.com is finally ready to accept the input from other Hip Hop Fans. We know others out there share the same passion that we do for Australian Hip Hop and we want to help you share that passion with the world.
