DataReleased March 2011Format Free Mixtapes Edition date 2011 Country Label Edition details ReviewPrior to ‘If The City Had a Voice II’, Purpose had put out 5 releases both as solo and group efforts, toured the country and continued to grow both in and out of the studio as he honed his sound. This mixtape serves as a pre-cursor to his debut solo album 'Where It Starts' Dropping early 2012. It is a collaborative effort with DJ Hacksaw (Pagen Elypsis, Battlehoggs, Train of Thought) made up of a handful of original music with some beat-jacks thrown in for good measure. This release paints an avid picture of the new generation in Australian Hip-Hop music and offers a peak into the future of an artist that has laid a solid foundation both locally and internationally. |

They can be considered: in the moment, on the edge, over the top, but under the radar. so turn on, tune in.'
